• Converted Christian believer in Jesus Christ who lives a life devoted to following God’s Word  

• Must accept without reservation the statement of faith of South Side Christian Academy

• Be a member/regular attendee of a Christian church

• Have a heart for ministry and a godly love of children

We are currently accepting applications for the following positions-

• Part-time Math Interventionist

  • Up to 20-25 hours per week, 9:00-2:30, Monday through Thursday OR 9:00-11:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday

  • Pay based on qualification. Certified teacher applicants will be paid more. Interested non-certified applicants with a strong understanding of K-8 are still encouraged to apply.

• Part-time Kitchen Assistant

  • Approximately 15 hours per week, 9:15 a.m.-1:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday while school is in session

  • $15/hour

• 5th-8th Grade Boys Head Basketball Coach & Assistant Basketball Coach

  • Season runs November-February, with practices generally on M, T, Th & F

  • A stipend will be paid at the end of the season.

• 5th-8th Grade Girls Assistant Basketball Coach

  • Season runs November-February, with practices generally on M, T, Th & F

  • A stipend will be paid at the end of the season.

• 3rd-8th Grade Boys Work & Play Director

  • Boys Work & Play meets on Tuesdays (approximately 25 Tuesdays) from 3:00 to 5:00.

  • The purpose of Boys Work and Play Club is to learn skills and be introduced to trades and careers while being mentored by Godly men. 

  • A stipend will be paid at the end of the season.

• 3rd-8th Grade Girls Club Director & Assistant

  • Girls Club meets on Thursdays (approximately 25 Thursdays) from 3:00 - 5:00.

  • At girls club, the girls learn Godly virtues and practice skills such as cooking, sewing, science activities, crafts, etc. 

  • A stipend will be paid at the end of the season.

• 4th-8th Grade Assistant Drama Club Coach

  • Season runs from March until the final performance in June

  • Rehearsals on Mondays & Wednesdays from 3:00-4:30, with additional rehearsals prior to the final performance

  • Experience in drama/theater & tech (sound, lights) preferred

  • A stipend will be paid at the end of the season.

• Substitute Teachers

  • As needed basis, 7:45 a.m.-3:15 p.m.

  • $140/day
